Battleships is a simple game where the objective is to sink the submarines by blasting them out of the water using depth charges. Of course they are not simply waiting for you to come blast them and are launching missiles at you to return the favor.
As the game progresses more and more submarines will turn up, making it harder to blast them while avoiding being hit by the missiles they launch.
Battleships is a simple yet effective game that is controlled by the left and right arrow of the keyboard, and the spacebar releases the charges. You are limited to launching three of them at any given time. So you better aim well to make those charges count!
Battleships may have a very simple objective, but in order to land the charges and blow up the submarines requires skill and insight, which make this game surprisingly fun to play, and once the levels go up, and there are more submarines in the game it gets really hard to avoid being hit by the missiles and hit the submarines yourself.
The uncanny radar sounds accompanying the submarines, adds to the pressure, and will keep you at the edge of your seat, as will the game getting harder with each level to survive.
