Hostile Skies is an awesome classic Dogfight shootem up, with classic WWII type airplanes. Your mission: Take out the enemy, wasting as little ammo as possible, and dodge enemy fire! After each round you will have to make sure to reduce speed in time for a landing, or you will crash!
Hostile Skies is played using your mouse to fly the plane and also to shoot down the enemies. The enemy planes require multiple hits before they crash, and while chasing them they do shoot back at an increasing rate at every level.
The longer you survive, the better you opponent becomes in using evasive maneuvers to avoid your fire, and also improves on returning fire at your plane.
Hostile Skies is a very well designed game with superb graphics and smooth game play and sound. It brings back the time of those excellent 2D fighter games that were at the height of their popularity during the eighties and nineties. So take a trip down memory lane and enjoy a good dog fight or two! In case you are of the younger generation this is a very nice way to get acquainted with this type of game, and you will find it every bit as attractive and addictive as the generations that came before you did!
